Serenity Lodge and My Son
I will forever be grateful for the effect Serenity Lodge had on my Son!
My Grandfather, my father, and myself have all had issues with addiction/alcoholism. Unfortunately, my son is no different. It was not until he visited Serenity Lodge that we could begin healthy communication with him.
Our family was excited to participate in therapy. We joined together to address many of the family issues. Prior to counseling, my youngest daughter had been so fed up that she refused to let my son spend any time with his nephew. The Serenity Counselors made family conversation extremely comfortable, I felt as if I was speaking with some friends I knew since grade school.
The Serenity Facility is spectacular. As a guest, I was treated like royalty. The grounds are extremely relaxing. They have the best gym on the mountain. They have swimming and racquetball. I am completely jealous. The rehab I attended was not nearly as luxurious as Serenity Lodge. The food was absolutely delicious. Warning to the residents, you’re liable to gain some significant weight! :)
The main reason for my gratitude – No matter how hard I tried, I could not, “FIX,” my family. Serenity Lodge restored my wonderful family to its former luster! Thank you to my friends, the staff, and the structure at Serenity Lodge.
